In June 1999, the owner, Felicia Sexton, was a Paralegal Student at the Center of Advanced Legal Studies, when the idea was birthed to help people restore their credit. Professor Harry Collins, a practicing Attorney and Professor, teaching at the Center of Advance Legal Studies, encouraged and mentored Felicia into taking on her first client.

Personal Touch Plus immediately recognized the need to educate people about disputing and understanding information on their credit reports. It was believed that the people needed someone with compassion towards their situation, affordable service while receiving positive results simultaneously.
